Short and Sweet Festival 2006


 Urban Tales' 10 minute raunch-fest script "WARM UP"  made it to the finals of this years Short and Sweet Festival at the Seymour Centre. Our competition was the 10 other short plays selected over the 5 week festival. Ours was a typical Urban Tales production...hilarious and bloody rude so you should kick yourself if you missed out. We ended up coming away with a prize for "Best Independent Theatre Company 2006"

Short Films

We have also been busy making a short film called "Grace". It's a kick-you-in-the-guts kind of drama which is a challenging new direction for us to take. Written by Sean Lynch, directed by Chris Baker, produced by Muffy Potter and of course acted by all of us it is a true in- house production, of which we are really proud. Here's a shot of Sean on set...(He'd had a big night)

"Grace" has made it into the top 100 films and will be shown at the St Kilda short film festival this year so keep your fingers crossed for us !
